Customer Challenge
In order to operate as a standalone bank, Tesco Bank needed to separate from RBS and establish its own banking operations and IT systems. When the new operations were established, Tesco Bank had to migrate some 3 million customers and their accounts safely over from RBS.

The Outcome
Tesco Bank completed its separation from RBS on time and is now a very successful standalone banking entity in its own right. Since the separation, customer numbers at the Bank have grown to over 8 million.
